About

Mother of two toddlers, I started knitting the summer my oldest was born. Knitting was a soothing way to fill my time while recovering from Lymes’ Meningitis. While I started out with acrylic, I quickly fell in love with hand dyed yarns and indie dyers. Declared a yarn-a-holic, I often dreamed of opening my own yarn store. After much thought and planning, I decided to turn that dream into a reality – and that’s how Pulling at Strings was born.

Prior to opening Pulling at Strings, I sold knits, painted clothing, and artwork at babyMACH. While babyMACH is now closed, I do occasionally offer patterns, knits, paintings, and embroidery through Venus Vanguard and Lily Pad Landing.
