Created by Carina of Sweet Mama Small Sugar, this pdf pattern features a timeless romper pattern knit from the top down and fastens with buttons from chest to leg along a garter stitch border.  With options for long or short legs and sleeves as well as knitting in stripes, this romper is available in seven sizes, and contains seven pages of colorful photos and clear instructions with pattern support through email.  


Available in sizes newborn to 2T


Materials:

290 (310, 330, 360, 390, 430, 460) yards of aran or worsted weight yarn for short sleeves and short pants, or 365 (390, 420, 455, 495, 540, 580) yards of aran or worsted weight for the long sleeve and long pants version

If you choose a contrasting color yarn for the button band and hem, it should be about 20% of your total yardage.

Needles appropriate for your preferred method of small circumference knitting and circular needles in US sizes 8 and 6 or sizes required to obtain gauge.  For NB and 3mo a 30" length will do, use a longer length for the other sizes.

Tapestry Needle

8 (8, 8, 10, 10, 9) buttons (5/8"-3/4") for shorts

10 (11, 11, 11, 12, 12) buttons (5/8" - 3/4") for pants


Gauge is 19st and 24-25 rows = 4in in stockinette
