You'll need: 

•2-4 ounces of 100% wool yarn  

•Size 5 DPNs 

•Size 7 DPNs 

•Darning needle 

 

Gauge:  19 stitches and 26 rows = 4 inches on size 7 DPNs for sizes 0-3 months and 9-24 months. For the 9-12 month size: changing yarn and needles to achieve a gauge of about 4 stitches per inch (16 stitches per 4 inches).
