Crafted by Karen of Karatstix, this bamboo knitting needle/stitch gauge was made using a laser engraving and cutting machine to ensure highly accurate measurements. It is then lovingly sanded and embellished by hand with colored pencils and coated with a satin polyurethane finish and polished to a silky feel. There is a 10cm ruler along one edge and a 4 inch ruler along the other. There are 25 holes for metric sizes .5 to 19.0mm which also have the US equivalent (8-0 to 35) labeled.
